County Final - Eton 13th January 2008

Hertfordshire beat Middlesex 3-0 (nine games to nil too!)

The final of the County Championships took place at Eton on Sunday 13th January, between Hertfordshire and Middlesex. In the group stage, Middlesex had beaten The Stags in a close contest, so on paper it could have gone either way. On the day, Pete Cohen and Doug Foster overcame Ross Bryan and Guy Chapman 3 games to nil, Peter White and Ant Theodossi proved too strong for Nick Gill and Dexter Davis in a 3-0 victory, and Dave Mew and Mark Herring won in three against Ed Rose and Ryan Perrie.

Having had T-shirts printed specially for the tournament, Hertfordshire (aka "The Hertfordshire Regulation Service"), were keen to not disappoint, and celebrated with a well deserved afternoon and evening in the pub.
