13/03/17: There were no surprises in the Kinnaird Cup semi-finals at Eton yesterday as the top two seeds Tom Dunbar & Seb Cooley and James Toop & Matthew Wiseman comfortably won through in straight games in front of a large crowd to reach the final on April 2nd, where they will play each other for the fourth year in succession.

Varsity Match 2017: Eton's House of Blues

06/03/17: The Varsity Match at Eton on Saturday produced a whitewash in the men's match as Oxford swept the board, winning all six pairs. The women's match was more evenly balanced with Oxford's top two pairs winning them the blues match 2-1 and Cambridge's greater depth of experience giving them a 3-0 victory in the second team fixture.

Under 21s 2017: Young Guns (Go For It)

13/02/17: The 2017 Under 21 tournament produced a thrilling day of Fives in arctic conditions at Eton yesterday. Highgate's Phoebe Bracken and Amira Reimer dominated the ladies competition once again to record their third successive victory at this level with a win over fellow Highgate School pair Marjolaine Briscoe and Viva Ruggi in the final. The men's tournament produced three classic matches in the knockout stages as Oxford University's Will Ponsonby and Tom Kirkby held their nerve to take the title.

2017 Northern Tournament: Toop and Wiseman Roll Back The Years

06/02/17: An astonishing 73 pairs - a new record - took part in a vintage Northern Tournament over the weekend. The absence due to work commitments of superstars Tom Dunbar and Matthew Wiseman was disappointing in one way, of course, but it did mean that for the first time in a while at a major tournament the draw looked wide open and the business end a lot more unpredictable.
