St.Olave's Win The Williams Cup

Mark Williams reports:

05/03/17: St Olave's won the Williams Cup by just 3 points for the first time for 20 years and the third time overall. They had the strongest team in depth, with particularly strong first and second pairs, and won all but one of their matches - being held to a draw by Eton. As a team they played consistently strong fives throughout the day, and thoroughly deserved their success.

Varsity Match 2017: Eton's House of Blues

06/03/17: The Varsity Match at Eton on Saturday produced a whitewash in the men's match as Oxford swept the board, winning all six pairs. The women's match was more evenly balanced with Oxford's top two pairs winning them the blues match 2-1 and Cambridge's greater depth of experience giving them a 3-0 victory in the second team fixture.

Wallball Star Timbo Gonzalez Tries Eton Fives

17/03/17: On 11th and 12th March the EFA hosted a visit from the top handball player in the world, Red Bull athlete Timbo Gonzalez. He comes from the Bronx and has been the number one player in the world for six of the last seven years. He started playing at the age of eight and by his early teens he was accepting challenges for money on the many courts in New York City where the game enjoys a huge following.

Kinnaird Cup semi-finals: Same Again!

13/03/17: There were no surprises in the Kinnaird Cup semi-finals at Eton yesterday as the top two seeds Tom Dunbar & Seb Cooley and James Toop & Matthew Wiseman comfortably won through in straight games in front of a large crowd to reach the final on April 2nd, where they will play each other for the fourth year in succession.

20/02/17: The initial rounds of 2017 Kinnaird Cup at Eton over the weekend threw up some absolutely fantastic Fives and whittled a relatively small but extremely strong field down to the final four, who will contest the semi-finals in three weeks time.
