2005 Geneva Tournament
Filippo Variola reports:
John Reynolds and Ronald Pattison came from England to participate in our tournament, nine players (including three girls) crossed Switzerland to come from the Lyceum Alpinum in Zuoz, three players were from the Zurich Fives Club and eight from our Zuoz Club Suisse Romande.
The winners were Franziska Kuenburg with Seb Cooley, John Reynolds and Ulrich Gessner were second and Suzanne Spahn und Andre Hodel third.
The weather was beautiful and we hope to have more players crossing the Channel next year!
Ronald Pattison writes:
"John Reynolds and I had a very good weekend in Geneva with Fillipo and his guys. Played lots of Fives with people of all nationalities (even a Russian called Igor), all standards and all ages. Seb Cooley was there with a group from Zuoz, Seb and Franziska Kunberg were the eventual winners in a close final against John and Ulrich gessner. The Swiss looked after John and I regally."
