WSSL 2023 Heating Up!

13/06/23:  It's the final week in the group stage of the Westway Summer Super League and things are getting rather tense.

Remember, the top two teams progress to the semi-finals and a chance for eterenal glory.

Three teams can theoretically top the group and two (The Mewtants and HA1 Newbury) are facing off tomorrow evening while the third candidates (Aston House Thoroughbreds) play Westway Wolves today. Citizens might still be in contention but for them missing out on points in the first week of competition, they finish on 6 games from their 4 matches with 1 match win. Cit, Chris L also sits in pole position in the hole shots standings on 6 shots.

Group 2 has been dominated by Aston House Stampede and Highgate who are separated by a single point going into their head-to-head tomorrow. The other three teams are currently separated by just 5 games with Westway Wildcats, 8 games and 1 match win, currently sitting 3rd. They could be leapfrogged by Emmanuel Wanderers (4 games 1 win) or St. Olave's Storm (3 games 0 wins) who play against one another tonight.
