National Schools Championships: Day Two
25/03/25: The 2025 National Schools' Championships in association with Advanta Wealth continued at Shrewsbury yesterday with the U16s taking centre stage.
The Girls competition was won for a remarkable third consecutive year by serial winners Millie Roxburgh & Zara Kirstein, who had to work hard for their win, coming from a game down to beat Shrewsbury in three.
The other winners on Day Two were Shrewsbury, whose U15 boys pair took the title without losing a game, defeating a Berkhamsted pair in the final who had had to go to five games to overcome Eton in the semis.
The Boys U16 competition has reached the semi-final stage, with St.Olave's, Eton, Shrewsbury and Ipswich back this morning to see who can win the title.
