Repton's 13th Court Back In Play

13/06/25: Repton have added a thirteenth court to their roster with the refurbishment and reopening of the court in the Priory boarding house.

No-one is quite sure when the court was built or when it went out of use, but a fair amount of tidying up and a new roof and lights have brought it back to life and an excellent addition to the main block of twelve courts, which were fully refurbished back in 2021. With Repton Master-in-charge David Exley now the Housemaster at The Priory, it is no surprise that the court is already proving popular with the Priory boarders, who are quickly adapting to the low roof and lack of back bricks, which make it a rather different proposition to the main block of courts and hopefullyi t will contribute more players and more momentum to the recent Repton Fives revival.
