EFA Girls Individual Tournament

06/10/25: The second of this year's EFA Individual Junior Tournament series took place at Highgate yesterday, with 20 girls taking part in an exciting afternoon's Fives.

Expertly directed by Charlotta Cooley, the girls - from Highgate, Shrewsbury and Ipswich - played the usual series of mix and match games, enjoying the rare opportunity of playing alongside players they normally play against. With the other three Highgate courts hosting the Old Citizens Wood Plate competition, there was a vibrant atmosphere all afternoon and some excellent matches.

The four top scoring players made it into the final; with Highgate's two highest scorers just missing out, it was a battle between two Ipswich/Shrewsbury combinations and provided a fitting finish with Sienna & Anastasia coming from 5-10 down to beat Betsy & Tiffany 12-11.
