2012 Under 21s: Highgate hit the heights
The third EFA National Under 21 Ladies tournament took place at Eton yesterday, with the remarkable Highgate Under 13 pair of Aimee Paul and Eve Smith-Bingham beating Bath University pair Emily Scoones and Hannah Blofield in the final.

The Bateman Badgers, a new small independent ladies club claimed victory in their inaugural match against Highgate School last Sunday.
The Turnbull Trophy Final was held at Highgate last Sunday and won by Berkhamsted pair George Campbell and Ali Leighton who beat Westminsters Laurie Brock and James Alster in three close games, with the Berkhamsted pair producing their best Fives when it really mattered.
Berkhamsted (G.Campbell & A.Leighton) beat Westminster (L.Brock & J.Alster) 3-0 (12-9, 13-11, 12-10)

The annual REFCA Under 14 individual tournament took place at Eton on Sunday with 55 players from seven different Schools taking part. A special mention must go to Rydal Penhros School who came all the way down from Colwyn Bay in North Wales for this event.
2012 Ladies Championships: Experience wins the day
The qualifying rounds for the 2012 Ladies championships took place at Eton on Sunday with 25 pairs taking part in a day that showcased the increasing strength in depth of the ladies game and some of the talented young players coming through.
2012 Ipswich Tournament: Walking in a Wagland Wonderland
The 2012 Ipswich Tournament took place over the weekend of Jan 7th/8th with Old Ipswichians, Ipswich School pupils and guests taking part in a typically sociable yet competitive edition of this well-established January tournament. The Graves Cup was won in impressive style by Nick Bunyan and Isaac Wagland who overcame Seb Cooley and William Clough in the final.

Players at the Aldenham Heath Fives Club turned out in fancy dress last night (Tuesday 20 December) for an evening of fun and frolics.
The Barber Cup Final in January will once again be between the top two seeds the Old Olavians and the Old Salopians. The Olavians played their quarter-final and semi-final matches on successive days at the weekend, firstly seeing off the Tom Dunbar-less Old Harrovians on Saturday and then cruising past the Old Etonians, who had been impressive in their first run to the Barber semi-finals for several years. The other semi-final proved to be a disappointment as the up and coming Millhillian club were unable to raise a side to test themselves against the Old Salopians, who go forward to challenge the Olavian dominance of this competition once again.
