Oswald & Ware Make It A Shrewsbury Senior Double

30/03/19: Shrewbury added the girls title at the 2019 National Schools' Championships this morning as their second pair of Katie Oswald & Lizzie Ware won a thrilling final 12-9 in the fifth game.

They saw off a magnificent challenge from third pair Issy Wong & U15 Izzy Morris, who had sensationally defeated the highly fancied U15 champions Berkhamsted 1 in the quarter-finals and top seed Shrewsbury 1 (Sophia Breese & Emma Graham) in the semi-finals the day before, the semi-final finishing 13-12 in the fifth and deciding game late the previous evening.
