2012/13 Alan Barber Cup: Wulfrunians win 20 years on

In 1992, the Old Wulfrunians won the Alan Barber Cup for the first and only time, with a team featuring that season's Kinnaird Cup winners Mark Moore and Gary Baker. They won that final against the Old Cholmeleians, who, in an echo of the Old Olavians current dominance, had not been beaten in the competition since 1976.

2012 Ranking Tournament: Cohen ranks highly

Guy Chapman reports:

With just ten the format changed slightly to ‘Winner Stays on; Different partners / opponents each game’, but with the same general principle of playing as an individual against a variety of pairings. The well matched pairings made for some long and close games, and I’m pleased to report that every player won at least one of their four games, and there were no one-sided contests.
