A dry but slightly cold day greeted the fourteen pairs as they as they arrived early at Eton for a prompt 10am start. Colin and Nathan had kindly stepped in at the last moment ensuring an even number of pairings. April 2015: UCL Marathon: 24 Hour Fives People

James Tugwell reports:

The club held its first 24 hour Fives marathon at the end of the second term and it definitely was a success, with the club reaching its fundraising target on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society. This couldn't have been done without the help of several people, in particular Andrew Rennie, as he both played and helped to organise the marathon. We certainly wouldn't have had the use of Mill Hill's Fives courts without him.

2015 Prep Schools' Tournament: Historic Win for Summer Fields

James Woodcock reports:

This year we returned to Harrow by kind permission of the Headmaster with 32 Pairs from eight schools enjoying a busy day’s Fives on a warm day. We are hopeful that Horris Hill will rejoin the competition next season. The courts had been well prepared in anticipation of our tournament. April 2015: EFA League - Old Olavians win Division 1

The Old Olavians have won Division 1 for the first time since 2011, clinching the title with a 3-0 win over the Old Millhillians at Highgate last week to take them 4½ points clear of last year's champions Berkhamsted 1, who have one match left to play. Having experimented with more inexperienced teams over the last few years, the Olavians have gone back to a league core of James Toop, Matthew Wiseman and Howard Wiseman with occasional contributions from Peters Cohen and White and Seb Cooley as well as important points from the much improved Will Betts and some of the most promising Olavian schoolboys. The keys to the Olavian success this year were the 2-1 home and away wins over closest challengers Berkhamsted, which effectively decided the top two places.
